Just wanted to say "Hi" to the thread. Having been looking up on the net about offsets and overpayments, I found this forum.
Have setup a direct debit that's just over double, the first of which came out this month. I figured out today that just that one overpayment is going to shave £15 a month off my bill. I was even more thrilled to work out that a year's overpayments at the same level is going to take a whopping £240 a month.
I am totally addicted now

Hiya Marcosscriven and 'Welcome to MSE'

Don't stop there - compare your Gas & Electricity prices on one of the comparison websites, change to a water meter if there are less people living in your house than there are bedrooms, use cashback sites for all your internet purchases etc etc.
In fact, there are literally loads of ways that you can minimise your outgoings and maximise your your overpayments.
Best of luck.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
