I have a bog standard Paypal account (just use it for paying for ebay stuff lol) - on my account it says that on the 7th march i have a completed transaction from maple syrup media ltd (which i assume must be the quidco people as quidco is saying it has paid out the same amount) for £29... my question is, where does the money go??? I Have checked my bank account but it hasnt gone straight into That - how does paypal work when u get a payment lol? Cos it says my account (paypal) is empty and the transaction is completed....! i cant find out anywhere on the site how to access the money or to tell me where it has gone!!! help! (sorry if ive posted in wrong place!)

I'm not exactly sure what's happened here, but I'll try to answer as best I can!
First - yes, maple syrup media ltd is Quidco, so at least you know where the payment has come from!
Any money paid into Paypal just sits in your Paypal account until you either withdraw it or spend it - it doesn't automatically get paid into your bank account, you have to withdraw it yourself.
If you haven't withdrawn or spent it, then the balance in your Paypal account should show the £29.
If you have withdrawn it, Paypal says it can take 5-7 working days to reach your bank account, so even if you withdrew it on 7th (Friday) then it won't appear in your bank account until at least the end of this week.
Hope that helps a bit!MFiT-T5 #52 - aiming to clear mortgage completelyJanuary 2019: £19620 ~ November 2021: £0.00!0 -

Log into your account and click on Contact Us at the very bottom of the page, then click on Contact Customer Services and it will guide you through sending them an email query.
Or you can try giving them a ring on 08707 307 191, which Paypal says is a freephone number - they're open till 10pm every night.
Hope you manage to get it sorted, all sounds a bit strange to me!MFiT-T5 #52 - aiming to clear mortgage completelyJanuary 2019: £19620 ~ November 2021: £0.00!0 -
