    The booklet is probably Apr 06 .. if it's the same as the download on their site. The tax rates don't change until next month (and were only ratified by the Chancellor yesterday) ... but you would think they would include a cautionary note - as the rates were predicted in the pre-Budget last Oct.

    No ... if you defer the pension once - that's your lot. You can't do it again, I'm afraid. Somewhere around Page 62 if the booklet is as the .pdf on their site :

    You can choose to stop claiming your State Pension only once, so
    this will not be an option for you if you have previously stopped claiming it.
    If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
