Toshiba Upscaling DVD Player - £19.99

Hello one and all, my first post of this kind so I hope some of you get some use from it!

Got this in a weekly email I get sent from the company, seems to be a pretty darn good deal, with Play selling the same model for £44.99, actually Ive not seen it cheaper anywhere on the net after a wee looksie there the now.

The offer is only available till the 16th and its limited to one per household, which says bargain to me.

Enjoy

typical, last night i paid £40 to amazon for a philips dvd player that does exactly the same as this, and now play are selling the toshiba hd dvd player for £50, the old saying you wait for a bus and 4 come along together springs to mind.

THis is a grade A as new product with 90 day warranty
Would this not suggest that it's not actually new?
  • I got the mailed DVD offer from UKDVDR too - only to find 'out of stock' when I tried to purchase. (I also phoned without any joy)
    - Hope it's not a scam confused-smiley-013.gif ... has anybody actually got one for £19.99 ????
Amazon have them new for £39.99 with free postage - still pretty good value.:T
  • Cant get the product, it says there has been an error and i have already ordered one.
Also rang the number on and it didnt even recognise the number.
Shame as this seems a good offer

Mine arrived yesterday which surprised me as "next day" delivery doesn't always apply to Northern Ireland. The (original) box it came in was quite battered and tatty but the player looks fine and was easy to setup (just plug in really). I downloaded the firmware upgrade (from AV forums) and applied the region hack so its now also multi-region. Great value for £27 delivered
