Anyone else used this yet? I picked up a t-shirt and a shirt for £52 from there this morning, it said add the code and it will be discounted after its been processed by them, got an email then saying its been processed and will be delivered next thursday, but no info on the 50% being taken off, also my bank account has been flagged for £52 to come out, have emailed them about it, but no response as of yet :(

    Yes, it's a bit confusing isn't it...

I ordered some toys off them a week ago (only some turned up, but that's a different story)... the order confirmation and emails they sent stated the full price, but they only took 50% off my credit card (strange way to do it if you ask me). Then they didn't take the 50% discount off a toy hovercraft I ordered, but once I emailed them, they refunded the extra amount.

A rather weird discounting system, but no real complaints.
Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.

Hi, I placed an order yesterday morning totalling £150 so should have been charged £75. Received an e-mail at the end of the day stating they could not put the order through as my credit (bank account) card had refused the payment. On checking my bank account I had over £100 balance so e-mailed bargain crazy about this. They replied stating they actually ask my bank for the full amount before discount but that when my order is processed I will only be charged the discounted amount. I am totally baffled by this. I can only assume that as I went through linemypocket.com which would give cashback bargain crazy did not want to put the 50% discount through. Would appreciate any advice on this. Have checked the bargain crazy site today and now half the stuff I ordered is sold out! I have an account with bargain crazy and have ordered several times before and they did charge me full price on one item (the big heavy one) once before, their excuse being it was not included in the discount but I got to the item via their discount link. They said I could return it but the postage would have been more than the cost of the item.
I would warn others just to be very careful, double check everything etc.

It seems to me like they have major flaws in the discouting system, i got a reply back this morning appoligising that the discount had not been applied to my order and that it will be refunded, i guess thats how they do it with everyone.
  • They also declined one of my cards last week when I know that there were plenty of funds to cover the cost of the purchase. Weird...
Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.
  • I also ordered hovercrafts using the 50% off discount code, on the basis that they were listed as in the toys section, and they charged me the full amount too. i emailed them yesterday and this is the reply i got today...

Thank you for your email about the 50% discount code.

I am sorry this item was not eligible for this offer, but as
this was included in error I have refunded £25.99 to your card
    account.

If I can help further, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Glad i spotted this thread and queried it with them, i wouldnt have spotted it until me credit card bill came.

Moral of the story - hovercrafts arent discounted unless you ask for your money back!!!!
