i bought a candy floss machine a couple of weeks ago and i am now looking for coloured sugar for the machine, i have looked in the usual supermarkets , asda, morrisons etc, i would prefer to buy it in the local store, then send away and pay postal prices on top of the product price,

yes have brought these before! try your local cookery shops anywhere that sell decorations for cakes! they come in a small bpot abit like glitter does! i paid about £1.30-£1.80 last ages! loads of different colours0

What you are looking for is powdered food colouring. If memory serves correctly, just mix a little in with your regular sugar and away you go.0

I use ordinary liquid food colouring to make coloured sugar for my candy floss machine - just put some regular sugar in a pot with a lid, add a drop of food colouring (a drop of red will produce a lovely candy-floss pink!) put the lid on and give it a really good shake. If the sugar is still "wet" with the colouring then add more sugar and shake again. A tiny drop of food colouring goes a very long way!MFiT-T5 #52 - aiming to clear mortgage completelyJanuary 2019: £19620 ~ November 2021: £0.00!0

Hey friend, you can make coloring sugar at your home. You don’t have to pay a premium price for sugar sprinkles in the store. All you need is sugar and liquid food coloring in your favorite color.
