lloyds tsb loan?

I applied for car finance with a car company and i was accepted for £10k
Then i found out it was with black horse which is Lloyds tsb.
Now i have a basic account with them which i was wanting to upgrade and get a credit card etc
you think its worth going into the local branch to see if they will upgrade me after i found out they approved me for a 10k car finance?

Black horse finance and LTSB although one big company - the two do not mix.
You have probably got a basic account because you do not meet their criteria for a normal account (and credit card).
If you tell us why you have a basic account we may be able to advise further.0
