i am bankrupt and live with my girlfriend who wants to buy a house. she has good credit but not enough income to get an decent mortgage. can my income be taken into account as additional income? i cannot be on the deeds for obvious reasons.

not an expert on contract law but if you were paying her 'rent' to live there then she can claim this as extra guaranteed income? however your name would not be on any deeds or would you be liable to any debt and i guess your name would have to be mentioned as a tenant ( i dont know if this would hinder her mortgage application as she may then be 'connected financially to you') you would also be stuffed if you split up as you would not be entitled to any share of the property. it is something that will take some reading or hopefully one of the financial wizzkids on here can help in more detail as false declerations may get her into big trouble.
there are some legal beagles on here also, hopefully one will be able to give you some advice on that side of things just so you are 100% sure your OH knows what she is doing.
