Please excuse if i am not good at this but i am a first timer. anyone had
the same predicament as us we think our banding is to high but we dont live in a house that is anything like our neighbours anyone had a similar situation and if so how did you compare banding?? thanks

Yes, our 2-bed flat is in a block of flats, the other local properties are either houses or council flats which they seem to treat differently. The only way is to compare with similar bits of the area slightly further away, or compare on square footage despite the different shape, or to look what was going on in the area in 1991 based on the local newspaper which you should be able to examine in the library and generally has an estate agent adverts section. Depends - are there similar properties a couple of streets away maybe?Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!0
