Hi,
I need to perform a deed of variation on my late father’s will, to give 50% of the home with my mum to me. Is there a simple way to do this, or do I have to get a solicitor involved?
I have searched the internet and there doesn't seem to simple explanation.
Thanks

You need a solicitor, maybe 2, one for her and one for you. This is not usually regarded as a desirable idea for either of you unless you live together in the home.
What is the aim of the plan?Trying to keep it simple...
