We have been receiving a yearly statement but didn't get one last year and have yet to chase where it is (think it was due in November).

The endowment was for £50k and is projected to pay out £35k with bonuses, we need £33k - so I'm assuming it's doing okay?

How long does the endowment still have to run?

Well, only your parents can make the call then. The endowment still has long to go and might turn profitable later on, but it also might turn negative. The best for them would be to get professional advice.
