Hi,
We are currently moving our mortgage to a new company. So we could buy our house my parents lent me some money, and they put their name on the title deeds as security - sorry not sure what the correct term is. It is the same was as a mortgage company would.
The loan has been repaid and I need a mortgage discharge form from my parents saying so, before the new mortgage company will lent us the money. Can anyone advise what I have to do?
Thanks
James

I think it will be a form DS1 from the land registry if its a full charge that has been placed on your property.
Your solicitor should have taken care of this for you when repaying the mortgage and I would say the first port of call should be them.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
