Hello all, Currys offer only 48 month agreements with different terms ie the one in this thread is 12 months buy now pay later. With this CA you have 12 months to pay the balance + £25 admin fee (charged by HFC, I call if a fee!), you can pay in full and final settlement over the phone with a debit card-not a creditcard, at any time. OR you can phone them on 08700609779(customer services) and request a payment book or request their account number and sort code and set up a standing order from your bank ie split the balance over 11 months or send them a cheque as and when you wish.

Its only if you exceed the twelve months that you will incure a 29.5% APR over the following 37 months meaning as a rule of thumb you pay double!!!

Also HFC should sent you a reminder on the 11 month stating the balance.

****TIP**** Next time you are in a Currys store, ask to speak to a representative who know something about the products they are offering BEFORE you sign an agreement, also the representative HAS to show you a PRE CONTRACT before you sign so you know what you are agreeing to, if they fail to do this report them to the FSA.

Hiya,
This happened to me a a a while ago, exactly the same scenario.

I contacted John Dyfrig, then Chief Executive HSBC Bank (HFC Owners) I believe it to now be Paul Thurston managingdirectoruk@hsbc.com

They got back to me very quickly and my complaint was looked into, and settled within a week.

The number for HFC Windsor Head Office 01344 890000
Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean Easyjet aren't out to get me
