in Cutting tax
Unlike claiming bank charges i am unsure about whether i am in a position to claim back council tax. I have followed the procedure but am still unsure
1. I live in a 2 bedroom house and had nothing added to it apart from double glazing. My council tax band is D.
2. Most of the houses in our street are band D even the 3 and 4 bedroom houses. There are a couple of exceptions with people who have exteneded and are on Band E
3 I bought my house for £46500 in 1995 but looking at the estimated value of my house in 1991 from the website going on houses sold close to me i should be in Band C
Does anybody think i should claim or leave it alone
Thanks
