I am looking for advice regarding my son's employment.
He has worked in a local supermarket for around six years, working part time around 20 hrs a week and paid weekly.
The supermarket has just been taken over with new owners which happened overnight. The new owners are appearing not to pay the staff for the week prior to their take over and they are suggesting that the previous owner is responsible for this payment.
Any idea of the legal side of this?
