Hello everyone! You're all doing so well
I didn't update at the end of March (was so busy), so I've just done my end of April total. I have £67,530 saved - a total of £3,259 in March and April! I've been super disciplined the last 2 months - no unnecessary spending at all - and it's really paid off.
I'm on track to exceed my £13,000 target for 2013, I've saved £5,330 in the first 4 months

Hi everyone, some very inspiring savings totals yet again!
This month I have combined my ISAs into one account and rounded up to a nice even number with £641 added giving a total of £8,300!
OH and I now have £20k between us so we're getting close to our target! Hoping to start house hunting in early 2014!
Good luck everyone and keep going!0 -
Hi everyone my update this month is that I have 2500k in savings leaving me 15.5k needed towards my 18k
It's very reassuring to see so many of you very close to your goals. As summer is approaching can ask how you all manage to keep yourself motivated when the goal is still far away?
I get joy out of seeing the pot going up but it still feels a long way out of reach...0 -
Little update from me! I'm now up to 55k
I'm also on target for reaching 60k by the end of 2013.
Although I've always been a saver, I really think updating my sig on here spurs me on to save the absolute maximum each month, and its paying off!0 -
Monthly update from me - still on track and should have a reasonable deposit ready in approx 18 months now.

Hi everyone,
Didn't know what we were saving for until our landlady asked if we would like to buy the house we are renting, so now we have a goal!!
Asking price is £90,000 so need a 10% deposit maybe more. So far we have £4460 hoping to have £10k by November/December time depending on how good we can be with the budget, May has been an expensive month needing to buy stuff and we are going camping next month but hope to get to the £5k mark for June.
We are very excited to know we will be homeowners by the end of the year :jRegular saver £200 Saving for emergency fund (£2000)

I have currently saved £99,450 which has mostly been accumulated over the last 4-5 years. I live in the South-East and could probably have purchase a property some time ago, however the problem is I'm deeply unhappy with my job, so have put this off (now for several years) incase my circumstances change.
I work in middle-management within the Engineering industry, and don't believe the job is a good 'fit' for me, but I continue to work there anyway as the salary too good to turn down, especially in this economy.0 -
