i've been looking at my budget and my new plan is to save every single possible penny and move in the summer with 10% to a smaller house i think once we get to that point hubby will be happy enough to go ahead, so i need another £4k, i won't need any oil or xmas pressies til after i've moved so taking them out of the budget and cutting my shopping budget (because we don't wanna be moving food anyway) i'm now aiming for £1k + a month
i think i can manage £800 in feb (lots of bills due) but after that it's all go, wish me luck :j
£50 added this morning, have changed my dd to £100 a mondayDEC GC £463.67/£450

Why not take the 44 pound back out of savings?
That way we both win. You get 44 pound extra and my OCD doesn't flare up seeing totals not rounded off :rotfl:
I will try and round it up to £9100 if I can. But there is half term this month which makes it hard.
I understand though....3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

After moving various amounts of money around I've managed to put a further £1800 away in January, bringing my grand total over the £14k mark.
More clever money saving and company bonus should see us hit £17k by the end of Feb, which is our magic figure to begin actively house hunting. We do have car insurance due on March/April, but I'm hoping to find yet more inventive ways to pay these off without hurting the overall savings too much.0 -

Hello all!
Just shoved £2450 in to savings, getting closer to £30K now (sig updated).
I have a few major expenditures coming up (paying for new windows for mum in March and a trip to NZ in December for a friends wedding) but I am still quite sure we can hit £50K for the end of the year...
Its brilliant seeing how well people are doing, its very inspiring.
Now all I have to do is sort out my Rightmove addiction rofl..Started saving January 2011
