I think my savings have now reached £15000 which with the conservatively estimated equity in my flat gives me my hoped for deposit of £30000. I say hoped for as I have a bit of savings account transferring to do so I can see everything online and in one place.

    Hi Squish,

I'm putting off buying at the moment, as there is not much around. Think I might change my sig to £20,000. I also have about £2500 in a seperate account for fees etc.

Hostie I too wondered what your plans were now you've got to your target. What's your estimated LTV %?

Moneysavingnovice doesn't seem like much of a novice! Well done, are you buying now or still saving?

Hi Bodmil - Think I might save to £20k and see what there is to buy. I'll be looking at a 15% to 20% deposit on a flat (as I am buying on my own) depends if I buy a 1 or 2 bed place.

There has been a lot of buying 'basics' food from Supermarkets, and not going out/going on holiday etc!

We're about to buy- we've had an offer accepted on a place, 75% LTV, so hopefully we'll exchange within the next month or so!
