Hi everyone, I have posted on this thread before, but now I'm in a better position I'm actually able to start saving properly.
I graduated last year and have slowly been paying off some of the debt I'd accumulated at uni. I've managed to pay off £5,500, and although I know I have some overdraft left it's at 0% for the next two years, so I plan to fill my ISA and then start attacking the overdraft again by the new tax year at the latest. I get paid weekly on Friday, so hopefully I'll be able to make the first deposit into my ISA then. Good luck to everyone else saving.
Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -

Hi,
This thread is very motivational. I am dying to buy my own place as I am currently renting. I'm 25 and have started saving for a deposit but keep having set-backs due to this recession.
I'm looking for a weekend job to bring in extra income but am not having much luck finding any work.
I'm sure the self-sacrifice will be worth it.0 -

Good luck!My savings are much reduced due to the recession too, but we're in a much better position than people who aren't saving at all! Hope you can find something part-time to boost you.

83K hit!!! 100K At a strech by next Feb or march, 40% deposit reached and it looks as if prices may be starting to fall again.
I love it when a plan comes together!0
