Where has this thread gone? :0(
Bank of Mum & Dad on tonight - does anyone else watch it? I find it keeps me on the straight & narrow.
Today it was homemade sandwich & snacks for lunch = £0.00
Returned a watch that I bought in Next in the sale = + £10.49
Thats all really, not very exciting, just waiting for my i-pod to be delivered from ebay - (got it at £160 for a 20mg one), so quite pleased with that, I just hope it arrives, will cry if not _pale_ (thats the nearest smilie I could find to one that looked as though it was going to cry!!). lol.
Just 3 months until I am debt free, its so exciting, I cannot wait - will feel weird though, and will still watch my pennies & hang around on here.
I saw some houses to buy within my price range (not very much!!!), so although im not looking to buy at the the moment, (and hopefully prices will reduce anyway) it fills me with confidence that I could afford to buy as a single person & have the independence I crave, and not get penalised for not being a couple. (not entirely related to what I spent today, but oh well...)
Tonight I'll probably go to the gym, or watch a free DVD that I have as part of a trial. Cool.
What have you spent today? Found any bargains recently?

Hi ms_london
I've missed this thread! So far today I have spent nothing but need to do a supermarket shop on the way home. I have made a very strict list and will be sticking to it.
Since Monday this week I have actually only spent 35p on a packet of smarties - I was having a snack attack and was a bit desperate!0 -

Did a huge Tesco shop today which came to £119.18
However,
1) Multi-buy savings were £24.98
2) Coupons, 53p
(every little helps!!)
3) Got 444 clubcard points, which will equal £17.76 in deals
4) The shelf price for the cheese was lower than the pack price, so i got a refund of £5.06
5) Returned a child's jacket and got the £9 back. It cost me less than that however, as I used a 20% off voucher when i bought it.
6) Oh, and quite a few of the items were reduced, of course.
Oh, and I get cash back on the credit card (paid off in full every month of course). So the total was approximately £69.
Then we walked into town and bought a large fruit pie in Somerfield reduced from £2.25 to 56p. Wandered home and enjoyed it with a lovely cuppa. What a good day :j0 -
So far I have spent 50p on a Can of Drink and plan to spend a further £1.90 on a magazine. I receive a £2.00 for Lunch from the company I work for so not a bad day at all.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 297 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts
