We run a part time bouncy castle hire biz, but has anyone got any ideas of anything else people would want to hire (Not neccessarly to do with the bouncy castle side of it) I`ve been racking my brains, but cant seem to come up with anything

How about something like a bucking bronco (sorry if spelt wromg). I went to a Christmas party a few years back & they had one which was a hit!
Also what about doing pre made party bags & pass the parcel etc if you are hiring out to parties.
Or how about costumes for the parties (I know DD loves wearing fancy dress to her parties)
Hope this helps

Helium gas? Could be done as a separate thing or could run very nicely with your bouncy castle biz

Hiya, thanks for your replies so far,the bucking bronco thing, is a no go, they are beyond our budget (for the moment at least) and you also have to man them types of things,we dont want to go down that road, as theres only the 2 of us doing the hiring.
Helium gas is very cheap now,and people can by partypacks themselves.
The "pass the parcel" idea, i did think of a whileback, not sure whether it would be cost effective tho....hmmmm i dunno:huh: lolCaz

Hi - how is the bouncy castle hire business? have you been doing it long? is it a good money earner (if you don't mind me asking!)
Anyway, as for other add-ons - if you are hiring for a childrens b'day party, how about offering to supply everything for the party? for example, all the party paper plates, cups etc (probably with a couple of 'theme' choices), disposable table covers, filled party bags (with, say, 5 toy items in each), and charge enough to make it worth your while.
All the items bought wholesale would be really cheap (it soon mounts up when you buy them for a party from somewhere like tescos in bags of 5 items for £1).
Also, parents are always stressed with all the organisation, so if you can offer to set the whole thing up and then put it all in a big bin liner at the end, they would pay for it I would think (judging from the ones my children go to!)
let me know what you think0 -
