Basically I need to know what cover is essential for my mortgage. I currently have my ASU/ASR cover, my mortgage life cover but I've also got a Income Protection Cover which I'm not 100% sure is relevant.
The Mortgage Life cover is with Friends Provident as is the Income protection cover, the ASU/ASR is with British Insurance which I got through Martin's recommendation on this site.
Looking at reducing my monthly outgoings so this is the first place I've started, next in line is to cancel off my British Gas cover as it is a terrible service.......
Thanks for any help.

Without knowing your full circumstances, I am not sure what is or isn't needed.
Its not a case of someone on here saying you need X,Y or Z or even a combination of these.
Why are you trying to save money would be the first question that I would ask - is it that you are more committed than you need or is it because you want to divert your funds into doing something else?
Each of those policies have a purpose and whether that purpose satisfies your needs correctly, it is difficult to tell.
I would seek profesisonal advice so they can review what you have and ensure that you are not paying for something that you do not need?
How old are you?
Do you have a joint mortgage?
What are your employers sick pay benefit like?
Do you have any dependents?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
