Debt collectors want to take out a restriction on my property, help!

  • It wasn't the 'helper' threatening, it was the debt collector.

I got a letter from them (the debt collector) last week pretending nothing had happened asking why I hadn't contacted them.
It seems as if they realised they 'had been rumbled' and pretended it never happened and want to start again.
I shall continue to make the £5 a month payments, as I believe they can't do anything else unless I stop making regular payments.

As others have said, give CCCS or National Debtline a call and don't speak to debt collectors on the phone as they will only try and bully you into paying more, demand everything in writing.
