TUXEDO purchase or hire for a ball?

and although I may see myself growing slightly, my weight doesn't fluctuate at all, so I think I can safely say if I was to buy a tux it would last me a good few years.
The main question, however, is whether I would need to wear one again.
The cheapest 2 piece suit hire at Moss Bros is £35, whereas I could purchase it from MandS for £50.
The cheapest full package hire at Moss Bros is £49, whilst I could purchase the whole lot from MandS for just over £70.
So essentially, for another £20-25ish, I could own it as opposed to renting it..0 -
George in Asda has had evening wear at about £25 ish a suit, don't know if they still do !0

Ask around and see if you can borrow one. Loads of men have dinner suits lurking in the back of the wardrobe and when they discover that it doesn`t fit then you may not have to give it back!0

Just as an irrelevant aside, Tuxedo is the American term, in England we call them Dinner Suits!;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

I got the tux (or dinner suit in the UK) from M&S for £50. the shirt was £15 and I got a gold bow tie from ebay for a fiver. so worked out nicely :j
