Anyone have any ideas for getting either free tickets or as cheap as possible tickets to the Ideal Home Exhibition in London?
Also anyone know about cheap travel to get there? I'm travelling from Cardiff. I'm gonna be looking into this myself and will post if I find anything out. I have entered Martin's comp for free tickets but looking at the response for these I've next to no chance of being lucky enough to win
so lets look at how else we can get to this show without forking out too much wonga,
Cheers guys:beer:

The daily mail have been running offers with buy 1 get 1 free
on show tickets www.idealhomeshow.co.uk and use code DMAILF
you have to book before 13/30 -
Hi Guys
I've found a competition that we can enter though the closing date is within the next couple of days so you'll have to move fast. Its at this web link
http://express.co.uk/fun
You have to register to the site but then you can enter this code 22481 and be entered to win a pair of 16 available tickets.
And before anyone says I should enter this info in comps thread - we are trying to keep stuff related to Ideal home show tickets in one place so people don't have to waste time searching all around like I have. Ta!0 -
TraveLodge have a discount code of "TRAVD" which gives you £5 off each ticket.
Works out online booking of two tickets = £19.00 (inc £1 booking fee)
Doesn't work out as good a deal as nudge's code though:T
Two tickets + £1 booking fee = £15
Cheers Nudge!

Well Ive booked my tickets using Nudge's code :jso hope it doesn't come up cheaper anywhere else now? I trawled through the cashback sites but couldn't see anyway of getting cashback.
I have used a cashback card so that reduces it a little bit more.
I have entered three comps but odds are unlikely I'd win anyway,:o and if I do I can sell them or something;). Also I am taking two children and I dont think you can order their tickets separately so just as well that its all done together.:T
Now time to look for cheap train fares to get there. Anyone got any advice on how to do this cheaply? We're travelling up from Cardiff to London return ticket on 26th April.
Cheers:beer:0 -
I've finally booked the train tickets now. :T:T I got single fares from Cardiff to London at £11.50 so £23 altogether. Kids are £5.75 each way. So 2 adults and 2 kids cost me £69. My Ideal Home Show tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids were £15, so altogether it's cost me £84. I get 1% cashback. Not much but every little helps.
The website doing the cheap train tickets is detailed below:
Massive release of additional low-price Advance train fares.
Book between 07 March and 11 March for travel between 14 March and 22 May
Limited availability 20-25 March and 02-05 May. 850,000 additional Standard Advance and 163,000 additional First Advance tickets will be made available under this offer. All fares include 10% online discount and are exclusive to nationalexpresseastcoast.com
http://www.nationalexpresseastcoast.com/
Don't think I could've done it much cheaper:T
So Ideal Home Exhibition......Here I come!!!!!!!!!:j
Good luck everyone else:beer:0 -

The Daily Mail BOGOF code expired a few days ago and is no longer accepted by the website, however I have just used it to make a booking over the phone. Tickets were £16 + £1 P&P so 2 of us worked out at £8.50 each. Had I booked earlier online I think it would have been BOGOF including the £3 discount (so £14 total) but still better than nothing.
This was for a weekend ticket as well
