Cannons gyms "The big event"

Hi all,
Cannons gyms are having open days next week. The actual dates vary by branch. This includes free entry for all, free drinks, special sample-type fitness classes, beauty promotions etc.
The actual dates vary by club, but info is at the link below - please note that by the looks of it you have to book in advance.

It did occur to me that a public open day is not the best time to have a free day pass to a gym - after all, there's a permanent offer on the Cannons website for a free trial day, and generally it would make sense to go on a day when the whole of the rest of the general public will not be trying to use the facilities at the same time
However the freebies may be worth looking at - for example my local branch is offering free skin-type consultations and free samples of beauty products. (It's all open to existing members too.)
Of course what you mustn't do is let them sell you gym membership - if the open day makes you want to join, look at Martin's article on the PruHealth loophole
Hope this is of use to people
