Its only free to collect you still have to win the bid apparantly. The seller needs to change the wording in their listing.

Did you email her then? If its free to collector , when someone says they will have it and come to collect it you just end bidding early, you dont bid or its not free!??

Exactly! I was accused of lying about recieving my freebie the other day ... it's nasty how some people think they can treat you differently just because they are hidden behind a computer. :mad:

Yes, he said as long as I'm prepared to dismantle it they wont charge me to pick it up but they're looking to get around £200 for it. Told him I'd leave it.

Savemoney was absolutely correct so what was wrong with him/her saying so.

It was obvious that the item was offered for sale on a bid basis and free collection for any winning buyer was offered rather than any shipping suggestions.
