I live in Spain and am aged 65 and my wife is 42. I receive a company pension and recently my state pension.My wife does not work -can I claim income tax relief for my wife due to the fact she does not work.

I suggest you ask a Spanish accountant as they will know Spanish tax rules better than most of us here. Claim adult dependant's allowance, you will get an extra 60% of your basic state pension.Trying to keep it simple...
