I am new to this website and would like to earn a little extra money whilst sitting at my computer for short amounts of time on and off all day whilst looking after my two boys (both under 4). I have become a member of !!!!!! in the hope of winning some prizes. Is this a good website to be a member of or are there better websites to join and i keep seeing on these forums about online surveys - what do these invovle and how long does it take to fill one out.
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me to make my pocket a bit heavier!!!

Not sure about that particular website, but if you go to the competition forums on here, you will find hundreds and hundreds of competitions. Take a look at the winners page, I haven't won anything yet, but manage to fit in a few whilst toddler is sleeping or playing! Someone won a £3000 diamond ring the other day!0

I wouldn't recommend sites like !!!!!! or myoffers. People seem to end up receiving loads of spam. Lots of competitions are listed in the Competitions forum, also www.loquax.co.uk is a website dedicated to competitions, listing almost every competition running.
In the past I have won a £1000 cooker, Nintendo Wii, DS Lite, varying amounts of cash and loads of toys for my grandchildren, although I seem to be having a 'dry spell' at the minute.
Good luck0 -
Loquax is my favourite one, too.Ukwins and theprizefinder aren't bad.My best win was an Ipod, but have won lots of DVDs,CDs,books, and a total of 4 bottles of whisky!:beer:0

I agree that !!!!!! will send you lots of spam. I do the competitions on and off, and the Competition boards here as well as Loquax are definately the best sites0

As others have said, maybe try and avoid some websites etc.
My own tip - set up a dummy email address that you can use seperate from your main address. If you've got a dummy postal address that might help - not very likely i think.
Be choosy where you enter your details, IMO some 'fantastic prizes' aren't worth the hassle.
