I recently tried to buy 32 eggs at my local Tesco. They do however have a restriction on the number of eggs on offer that you can buy. When I asked (in the Easter egg aisle),after being stopped by an assistant from filling my trolley how I was supposed to know this I was told there were notices on the freezer aisle!! Needless to say I complained long and hard and there are now notices all over our Easter egg aisle! I was told that I could buy 8 eggs, take them to the car and keep returning for 8 more eggs! Or you can buy 8 of each variety e.g. 8 Smarties, 8 mini eggs etc.

The medium £3 for 4 eggs has finished at Tescos now. They are doing them for 99p (same as the Sainsburys £1-99 BOGOF).

The small eggs are buy 3 for £2-40 in Tesco.

Kinnerton Character eggs are £1-49 each BOGOF

Can you buy them on-line? I think the max is 10, so if you bought 10 of each of the medium kind for 99p each, I believe there is a Tesco code that gives you £10 off your first £50 shop. All you need to do it buy somthing else to take it up to £50, the delivery will prob be £5, and then you are saving £5. (and you don't have to lug 50 easter eggs to your car!)
  • Morrisons have their meduim eggs for 99p.
