Apparently with lenders pulling offers quickly it's hard to get the most up-to-date BTL comparison on website. Best to speak a broker. Not sure if you are after variable or fixed. I've been looking at 5 & 10yr fixed. UCB or Mortgage Works seems pretty good under current economic conditions.

I dreamt that I saw something on MSE saying that Abbey were now charging £2,000 for permission to let. Can anyone else remember that/confirm that/point me to the relevant thread? And if they can, how long was that permission for and is it a universal fee or are there factors determining how much is charged?
