Abbey pulling broker special deals

Abbey for Intermediaries has pulled all of its exclusive products with its 27 key accounts. Brokers have until this Monday morning to get applications in on time.
But the lender stresses that the policy of offering exclusives to its key accounts has not been withdrawn permanently and that it will review the situation again in the near future. An Abbey Mortgages spokesperson says: "We have taken this move as a result of seeing high demand from the business generated through our exclusives. "We want to ensure we are correctly priced to bring in a level of business that we can serve with full confidence that we will offer great service levels. "Regardless of this move, we firmly believe that Abbey's mortgage products continue to offer exceptional value to brokers."
