I believe you have to be invited to become one when you reach your goal weight with Weight Watchers.
I don't know how much they earn, but I do know that they tend to stick with it for some time (or the two that I have come into contact with have), so presumably it must be worth their while.

They were advertising locally a few weeks ago, in a local newspaper.
They did not display the wage, and asked if people applying could supply their expectations. Sorry I couldn't help more!"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
You can phone up there customer services and ask about it and you can apply when your within 1 stone of your goal weight - was going to do it when i was a member 2 years ago. You do not have to wait for your leader to invite you as some people would never be asked.
I can't remember the exact ammount but i know the clerks who help out got 20p per member weighing in for their pot and i'm not sure if its about 1-2 pound for the leader? I know a lot of it is down to how much you can sell the ww products too.
Best thing to do is give the customer services a ring and they'll give you all the info you need.Thankyou to all the posters of competitions :beer:0 -
Hey thanks guys... yes, they have actually asked me to become a leader and gave me a pack but it doesnt really tell you anything other than you are self employed and need room in your house to hold the equipment and it costs £50 to start up. They told me all about the training and expectations of meetings etc but just said to expect to earn on average £75-100/ week (apparently you can earn up to £21k, according to their blurb). I expected it to be about £1/ member for the leader but am going to check this week.
Thanks,0 -
Hi, When they say £75 - £100 per week is this for running one meeting. The weightwatchers leader that I see runs about 5 meetings and I know the one I go to is pretty packed. Am interested in becoming a leader myself but worried about losing money as the hire of the hall would not be cheap. Would appreciate any info. Thanks.0

You earn 70p per member, and a percentage of the shop sales.
Weight Watchers leaders are now employed by weight watchers being paid every 4 weeks, you also recieve a few £'s for using your home, and you get travel exspenses,
You have to attend monthly meetings with a area manager for 3 hours, along with training days each quarter.
It takes alot more time than some people realise to prepare for the meetings and organise stock etc...
It is however a very rewarding role0
