Afternoon, all!
Today I found out that Burger King are being mystery shopped in conjunction with Coca Cola to see if they are effectively "upselling" their products. I've searched every mystery shopping site I know for information about this, but can't find ANYTHING!
The shops begin on 10th of March, so info should have been released by now. Has anybody heard about this, or even got an assignment to do yet? Any ideas about which company might be controlling it? Burger King hardly ever do mystery shopping so this would be a real treat to do.
Please let us know. Thank you all!

No serious mystery shopper will divulge that information because it is against their contract to make such disclosures. Don't work for Burger King by any chance do you ?0 -

I've been a mystery shopper for years... assuming the anonymity that the internet gives, I wouldn't worry about divulging any information. And I certainly don't work for Burger King, nor am I friends with anyone who does - but I do love going to the restaurant (much more than greasy McDonald's) and so have made it a "professional goal" of mine to mystery shop them at least once! :rotfl:
In all seriousness, if anyone can even drop a hint regarding the specific company, I would genuinely appreciate it.0 -
Yes they've been released and as it was earlier this week, the company doesn't have any remaning.0

Then you should know that it is a part of your contract not to disclose who does what for whom.0 -

You say you've searched for information about it, but can't find anything - and yet you know the details of the promotion and when it starts? Where did you find that out from, unless, as Dim-Tim says, you work for Burger King? We’ve had to remove your signature. Can i ask, is this where you go in burger king in this example, and get people to try a new kind of burger?. Reason i ask is, i was in mcdonalds once, and id just had a big mac and fries. So when id done, a lady come over and was doing a survey, to try 1 chilli burger and 1 bbq burger, both which where not in the menu already.
So i tried them, but didnt have them all as id just had something before!:D. So is this what it is?

OK, since you are trying so hard and seeing as how the companies I work for don't know I am DimTim, I'll tell you. It is a fairly new company called "Mystery Shoppers R Us".
Google, you might get lucky !:D:D:D0 -

I find the whole atmosphere of these boards rather hostile. If you all believe so firmly in your contracts, you shouldn't be discussing ANY aspect of your work, so threads like "mystery shopping alerts" should be totally barred.
All I asked for was a suggestion of the company, which - by the way - was RE. Again, I do not work for burger king, and the information I found out was all I could gleam from people I'm friendly with in the shopping business. Did it ever occur to anyone that I wanted this information because I felt I could be missing out on valuable assignments? When you've been a shopper for more than two years, and you've been looking out for these particular jobs (in Burger King) for all that time, it comes as quite a dissapointment when you discover everyone else knows something you don't.Can i ask, is this where you go in burger king in this example, and get people to try a new kind of burger?. No, this is not what you're describing. It's your basic mystery shop to see if staff are taking full advantage of the sale. Sorry!

You are right, if everyone read their T & C's thoroughly, no discussion at any time should publically be made about these jobs, but where would that leave people who had queries and questions when the companies are closed ?
But, what is a serious no - no is naming the client and Mystery Shopping company in the same thread / posting which is exactly what you have done above, this shows blatant disgregard and respect for the company. I hope you have more respect for the other companies you work for."Dogs come when they are called. Cats take a message and get back to you" :j :j0
