Hey guys. Just wondering, what's the latest with the Bank Holiday Monday entry? Any chance of getting in on a weekday ticket, or is that a definite no....

After I had printed my ticket I recieved an email which gave the option to upgrade for the weekend - I know that makes it a non freebie - but still cheaper than full priced tickets

    weekday tickets EXCLUDE bhm.
that was my plan too

Think it was on seetickets website that said "weekend (inc bhm)" which would scupper the plans

I printed off tickets from the London two for one site, and went yesterday (Saturday)so it was £9 each, I certainly would have begrudged, and would not have paid £18 each for people to sell me things!

Having said that, I ddn't know what to expect, the best description I can give is that it is similar to the Ideal Home show, but smaller. We took about four hours to go around if its any use to anyone

Anyone travelling by tube should head for Canning Town and special buses meet you at the station, very well organised

Had a great afternoon at the Grand Design exhibition and thanks to op. :T

The exhibition is divided into 4 sections and I personally thought it 10 times better than the last few Ideal Home exhibitions. Parking was £10 for upto 5 hours and think it was £6 for 2 hours. Food was expensive inside excel centre and paid £10 for 2 basic burgers! so eat before you go or take a packed lunch.

Saw some live filming with Kevin McCloud, Melanie Sykes, Naomi Cleaver and Janet St Porter but realised Id left husband outside on the dock having rest, he was none too pleased that Id been gone an hour

The house they are building live is quite tiny and basic but I bet by the end it the magic of tv will make it look special

All in all great day out and now going to put feet up with a glass of wine to watch 9 oclock showing
