B+Q have a Makita Combi Drill, 18V, model 8390DWPE3, on sale for £169.98- anybody who does DIY know this is a really good drill. This week to Saturday, srewfix have it reduced to £ 79.99, local press advert, or print out the web page from screwfix. Take it to your local B+Q and they will price match, and knock off 10%= £71.99 !
Ps I bought two, the second B+Q store started to say that Screwfix, and weren't sure if they could match fix, when I showed them their own literature they reluctantly agrred !

Isn't it next day free delivery over £50 from Screwfix anyway, save your petrol. And there are 85 Screwfix shops (trade counters) in UK if you cannot wait.

According to my OH, both B&Q and Screwfix are owned by Kingfisher.
    Great post by the way.

    Hi
    Yes your husband is right.
They are both owned by Kingfisher.
My son started working for screwfix last week and will get 20% off screwfix and b&q.
So it seems strange that they are price matching themselves.

Earlier this week the drill was marked down in my local B&Q which just happens to be 1/4 mile from a Screwfix trade counter. Now I know why.

PS no one has mentioned the fact that the drill pack comes with 3 batteries.
