I wish ! Think everywhere like that will be closed. Anyway they don't let OAPs like me in ! Apparently Andrew Lloyd Webber is having his 60th Birthday party at a posh hotel not too far from where we will be staying. Do you think we might wangle our way in ? :rolleyes:Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -
Now that's a party worth crashing. Especially if you can turn up with a big multicloloured coat and start singing a medley of all his hits!I wish ! Think everywhere like that will be closed. Hey up Mrs S. Have a good night and I hope you get really pished, do silly things and tell us all about them when you logon here laterAfternoon
I'm soooo tired - been up since 6.30am, and this is the first time I've stopped for a break. Only a quick one though because I've got to go and have a bath now and get ready for my night out.
I was really uneasy about going because of the problems with Natasha not taking a bottle, but hubby had to work late so we agreed to meet everyone else there instead of getting on the free minibus (so I can feed her before we leave). The taxi was going to cost about £12, but would have been worth it for an otherwise completely free night out (meal AND bar all free...wooo).
Anyway, the company have now decided they will pay for our taxi there too, because it is supposed to be a totally free night out for all employees and partners, so we don't even have to pay for that! :T
I'm wearing a dress I have had for years (it's a fairly plain, long black dress, so no-one will know I've had it forever), and sparkly shrug and sandals. I didn't buy a new bag in the end
but I have one that will be fine (not perfect, but fine...lol).
Hope everyone else is having a good day.
