I wanna hire a People Carrier [7 seater]

But I need it for 2 months.

Got lots of friends/relatives coming over to the UK for a wedding/holiday all rolled into one. Would be nice if we could travel around together in one vehicle.

Anywhere I can get one cheap for that period of time?

Any ideas? Clearly can afford the £70/day being quoted by most rental firms.
  • Hi there,

My only car hire experience has been when we go abroad - however we have always found it to be cheaper to hire a 9 seater i.e. transit/vito that has been converted into a minibus than to hire an espace or similar.

Will you be using all 7 seats for passengers? it is just that if you have luggage and 7 passengers you will struggle unless it is a grand espace (or similar) we have to remove a seat or two in an espace before we go to the airport - just something to bear in mind...

Perhaps if you post where in the country you are people with local knowledge might me able to give you names of places you haven't tried yet?

Good luck! (and a deep breath in when you need to fuel it up!)

    hey :)
Im not sure what part of the uk you are located, but in the NW the cheapest rental company seems to be 1car1 http://www.1car1.com/index.aspx we have used them many times, for both "normal cars" and vans and have been pleased with the sevice/car recieved.
