Allowable Travel and Subsistence Allowances

Good Evening all,

We have recently undergone a PAYE tax inspection at work, which has highligted questions over our allowances for Travel and subsistence.

Does anyone know the HMRC guidelines on allowable amounts for Hotels, Food and Drink throughout the day. And how this would impact me as a Sales Rep out on the road.

We are getting guidance from the accountants, but would like to be clear myself so I know where I stand.

Does this also affect me in respect of my mobile, laptop etc.. I obvioulsy pay associated Tax for my car and fuel, but would like to know how this affects me and the tax payable if any
