The best advice is to keep it simple. Do the invites in stages, kind of like a production line.
Velum or tracing paper can look good over the top of a stamped invite, tied with some nice ribbon or cord.£23366/ £39206.92 DFD Nov 20160 -
In the craft shop today I saw peel off stickers that said: Wedding invitation and Evening invitation.
I would agree, keep it simple, something you can repeat over and over again. I have seen a stamp with a wedding cake on it, you can heat emboss it with nice embossing powder. Or get a heart punch and punch out two hearts and mount them. What are the bride and groom after? Traditional, Funky, soft pastels, or are they leaving it up to you? I would make a couple of examples and let them choose which one they like best.
