Leasehold Service Charges

I live in a leasehold flat run by AmicusHorizon. Two days ago they sent me a letter to let me know that from paying £33 in monthly service charges I will have to pay now £97  a month. I am single with an average salary and this is just too much for me. I cannot pay that much. Next monday there is a meeting to discuss this and I was wondering what I can do to fight this totally unfair raise. Apparently and from the breakdown of charges, they want me to pay almost £41 a month in "sinking charges". In this regard in the 4 year I have been living in this flat they have painted the interior of the house only once! I find this raise totally unfair and with no base whatsoever. Yet, my first enquiries have been responded with one "in line with the national industrial norm" Which norm? which other companies have they made comparisons with? Do I have the right to know? I need advice in how to fight this please...
