Get your stamps before 7th April

The next round of stamp price increases is on Monday 7th April, so if you use 1st or 2nd class stamps, buy them now.

At 34p for 1st class and 24p for 2nd class now, the price increases to 36p and 27p from next month.

As long as you have the stamps that say the type (1st or 2nd) and not the price, you can carry on using them at the old rate once the price increase kicks in.

Particularly nasty is that 2nd class stamps hike is more than 1st class. Remember to check with any friends or relatives who still use stamps.
