My fix with C&G ends on 31st May and have been looking at their website.
Lifetime tracker has a £99 booking fee and no ERC's.
5.89% with a £999 arrangement fee
6.09% with no arrangement fee
Have also looked on the mortgagegenie website and they are qouting the same two deals but at
5.63%
5.83%
Are brokers able to get better rates on this product and do I have any chance of getting the same rate as a an exisiting customer?
Thanks

Hi, The mortgagegenie products both carry an ERC of 1% until 31/07/2011.
Brokers can have access to exclusive deals.
I would imagine that you need to be a new customer to access these deals but, maybe someone could clarify this.Excited for Florida - May 2012 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
the in branch / inline deals have recently often been a little higher than the broker range - brokers can't do inhouse swaps though! ... on occasion a nice branch manager will give a client a deal that matches the broker range :-)
Thye have however just added a ERC to the broker term dealAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -

I was in Lloyds bank today, and mentioned that I was looking at remortgaging. They told me that they offer advice on Lloyds, Scottish Widows and C&G mortgages. I told them that I wasn't happy with C&Gs booking fees, but might consider them otherwise.
I was surprised to hear the MANAGER tell me not to be put off by the fees as they can be waived! Never heard this from a bank before. Certainly wouldn't get that with Nationwide!
Anyway, maybe it's worth a try...0 -
