Advice Please

Hello (this has also been posted on the credit card site)

I am new to this forum, and I need some advice please.

I intend to write a cheque for about £15000 from my MBNA credit card at 0% interest, and pay it into a savings account. (As per Martin's article) I think it is an excellent idea.

However, I have moved house about three months ago, and have my mortgage with the woolwich. On our mortgage offer they stated that we must pay off all our credit cards (which we did) and not get any more loans or credit cards. Do you think they will find out ? I can't understand why they have put on such a restriction when we put down an £80000 deposit on our house.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thank you.

Ella

  • I suggest you ask the Woolwich for advice on this matter. I kid you not.
