help needed with sewing/in liverpool
Sorry wasn't sure where to post this
basically all the buttons have fallen off my coat  - espically annoying cos its a really nice coat and cost a few bob
unfortuantely I never learnt how to sew, and I dont have the time to do so now
I live in Liverpool and was wondering if anybody knew a: whether there is anywhere in the city centre where i can get them sewn back on or b: whether a dry cleaners would be able to do it?
thanks
P.S please dont laugh at me for my lack of domestic skills:money:

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0

Lets just say I can sew better than the girlfriend - I think Id come home to find the house on fire if she were to try to sew it0 -
Try the dry-cleaners then they do alterations so probably they will0

Another vote for drycleaners, alternatively phone round or pop into a few shops selling wool, fabric etc and see if they can give you any contacts!
I tried telling DS1 he couldn't leave home until he'd learned to sew a button on, but a) he didn't listen and b) he never wears clothes with buttons!Signature removed for peace of mind0
