Well I have to say that tonight was one of my favourite shows.
I class myself as being 'comfortable' however my finances are in a terrible state. Since I lost my daughter I've let my finances slip and everything needs sorting out and updating.
Tonight has really inspired me to see how much I can save. Normally these programs are geared to people who are in debt - which I'm not so I only half watch them. Martin was 'talking to me' so I had to sit up and pay attention and the visual props help you to see the cold hard cash thats getting thrown away.
I'm off to find out where to start.....
Thanks for a fab show, even if I wasn't on it tonight :rotfl:0 -
I thought the new bit with the finances came across well tooEx forum ambassador

I've watched IPTW from day 1, and find that each week it improves so much in many ways...
Martin & Ruth seem far more comfortable in the way they present the show.
The information provided to consumers comes across more clearly and understandable, because of the way that Martin and Ruth explain everything so clearly.
The show dosen't seem as rushed as it was, the pace is now slower, everyone can take in the very relevant information. I feel that Martin has done this by talking to 'the powers that be' to achieve this.
In my view, the show just goes from strength to strength. Well done to all involved. Thank you to you all. I wish this type of programme was aired years ago, I could have certainly done with guidance like this when I was bringing up my 2 Sons.
Martin... You have turned around so many peoples world... :T
I THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH XXX................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -
Another excellent show Martin and Ruth, they are getting much better each week, Ruth looked amazing tonight my OH informs me, and Martin, who told you your shirt was undone, I was hoping for a glimpse;) .
Christopher Biggins, he is fantastic and I hoped it would be longer, cause I feel he is a genuine nice person, I would have liked him to speak longer about the financial past, I think it would have helped those in serious debt.
Looking forward to Sunday programme.
Keep up the good work the pair of you.

Another great show just wish it was longer, 45mins- 1 hour would be ideal. I'm sure that CH5 could make room for a longer show, just need to bin one of their less popular progs and they've got a few of them! :rotfl:0
