My TV repair man told me yesterday - don't expect a BEKO to last more than 2 years. He gets a lot in at the 14 -18 month time when he says the cost doesn't justify repair. We are now waiting for ours (26monthes old) to go!

my mum bought a beko from the co-op about 10 years ago and still going strong, so i wouldn't worry that much about it breaking.

Maybe not......a 10yr old Dyson might outlast a 2yr old one these days....factories change, quality changes etc...

Mind you, for £139.99, 2yrs is ok isn't it, cheaper than renting?

It is a high failure rate. It does not mean that yours will break after two years - just that the chance is higher.

That said - 2 years or so is not bad if you are only paying a few hundred quid.
