This booklet has a 10% off voucher and that is the best I think you can get.
We went a couple of weeks ago, fist visit for a long time. My son won a family ticket but getting everyone with the same day off and good wether has taken a very long time. The ticket was worth £33 when we got it but a family ticket would have cost us £47 now LOL
It is an expensive day out but well worth it if you stay for a whole day. Really you need to go early to get a good parking space. You can also go for a boat trip and on the overhead tram but this costs extra. Take a big picnic, there are lots of lovely gardens to sit in and eat. Also a play area for the under 12s.
Find out in advance when the different feeding times of all the animals are, always fun to watch. The jaguars have their fish hidden all over their enclosure so thye have to try and find them, really interesting especailly when two of them find the same fish at the same time.
The last time we went the Twilight Zone for the bats was newly open and we spent ages in there watching the bats. This time though the smell in there was so evil we had to come straight out again.
I think we liked best the two baby elephants, very hairy and black and the otters.
Have a good day!
