Does finance affect remortgage deals?

Mortgage renewal due in Sept,but going to get a new car- will prob need say 5k finance.
Simple question, if i take out the finance b4 remortgaging will it have an impact on the mortgage and deals we can get?
Its an 85% mortgage and we've got good credit records and earn enough for it not to be classed as high risk etc
