This is sort of good and sort of annoying!

In this months Mother & Baby magazine there is a voucher code for 20% off items in Amazons best selling baby section:

Instructions: To celebrate the launch of the Baby Store at Amazon.co.uk, we're offering readers of Mother & Baby magazine an exclusive 20% discount on the best-selling baby gear.And you'll receive your 20% saving in addition to any discount already showing. We'll be adding new products every week so remember to check back to see the latest great deals.
How to claim your 20% discount: Simply add the products to your basket, proceed to the checkout, enter the special eight-digit code printed in Mother & Baby magazine into the promotional code claim box and your 20% discount will be applied to your purchases. Once you are happy that all your order details are correct, click on the 'Place your Order' button. When you have successfully placed your order, the following message will be displayed: "Thank you--we have received your order".

Offer is limited to one product per customer. Promotional codes may not to be used in conjunction with any other offer, and may not be used on any existing orders.

Free delivery still stands for anything bought over £15.00

So, I go to purchase a baby monitor which just happens to be the number 1 best selling item in their baby chart and get told my voucher is ineligible.
On the phone to them for 20 mins and it turns out it ISN'T the top selling baby items but a PRESELECTED list of stuff by M&B Mag!

I think this is rather misleading to be honest, don't blame Amazon but I think M&B should have their knuckles rapped. :mad:

Anyway, heres the voucher if anyone does want to buy anything off their preselected list:

I'd be interested in using the code since there is a few items I consider to buy for our baby from Amazon. Do you know what items are eligible or how I can find out?

It seems to be only valid on the stuff on their list. Go to Amazon, click Baby tab, should be a banner at top of page for Mother & Baby.
I think its also for one product only, so make sure you get your most expensive thing first!

Yes I agree. I have Mother & Baby and it certainly gives the impression that the voucher is off all baby items

I too have the magazine but I thought it meant only the products listed by amazon in conjunction with M&B NOT all baby items.

This is actually not bad - the "items below" include quite a lot of stuff, if you click on the tabs below, e.g. toys.

I don't actually need anything, but off to have a look anyway as I've got gift vouchers to use up. I like the "I broke it so sue me!" t-shirt

Sure, hence my original statement "I don't blame Amazon" but the wording in M&B is different to that on the site. Obviously saw their mistake and amended too late before going to print.
